We want to make everyone aware of recent catalytic converter thefts in our neighborhood.

The good news is that our neighborhood Flock cameras were able to identify the vehicles associated with the individuals involved, providing valuable information to assist with the investigation. This is a great reminder of the importance of our neighborhood security measures and everyone’s role in keeping our community safe.

Please take a few precautions:

🚗 Protect your vehicle

• Park in your garage or a well-lit, visible area whenever possible.

• Consider a catalytic converter anti-theft device or shield.

• Ask your mechanic about marking or etching your catalytic converter.

• Be alert for anyone spending unusual amounts of time around parked vehicles.

• Do not approach or confront suspicious individuals. Report suspicious activity to law enforcement.

🏠 Protect your home

• Lock doors, windows, and vehicles.

• Keep garage doors closed when not in use.

• Use exterior and motion-activated lighting.

• Keep valuables and tools out of sight.

• Consider security cameras around your home.
